Terms of Use

1. What Nyobora is
Nyobora is an online directory that helps people across Rwanda discover and contact local service providers. We list services and provide contact buttons (call and WhatsApp); we are not a party to any agreement between a customer and a provider, we do not process payments between them, and we do not supervise or guarantee the work performed. By using the site you accept these terms.
2. Provider accounts & listings
- You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your contact details up to date.
- Listings must describe real, lawful services that you actually offer, in the correct category and district.
- You must own or have the right to use any photos you upload.
- Misleading listings, impersonation, illegal services, or spam will be removed and may lead to account suspension or deletion without notice.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
3. Verification badges
"Verified" badges indicate that a provider completed a specific check (for example phone or ID verification). They are an aid to trust, not a guarantee of the quality, safety, or legality of a provider's work. Always use your own judgement before hiring anyone.
4. Reviews
Reviews must reflect a genuine experience with the provider. We moderate reviews and may remove content that is fake, offensive, defamatory, or unrelated to the service. Providers may respond to reviews on their profile.
5. Acceptable use
You may not scrape the site, harvest contact details in bulk, attempt to breach security, upload malicious content, or use the platform to send unsolicited marketing. Contact details published on listings are for customers genuinely seeking that service.
6. Liability
The site is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Rwandan law, Nyobora is not liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising from dealings between customers and providers, from inaccurate listing information supplied by providers, or from temporary unavailability of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Intellectual property
The Nyobora name, logo, and site design belong to us. Providers keep ownership of their own content and grant us a licence to display it on the platform and in promotional material for the platform.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Changes & termination
We may update these terms or change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
10. Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Questions or support: info@nyobora.com or the contact page.
